Dr. James F. Hesse, M.D.

As one of the founding members of Lakepoint Family Physicians, Dr. Hesse has been practicing here since 1993. He completed his undergraduate education at Wichita State University of Kansas School of Medicine. Via Christi St. Joseph is where Dr. Hesse completed his family medicine residency and he maintains Board Certification in Family Medicine.

He is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, the Medical Society of Sedgwick County, and the Kansas Medical Society.

Dr. Hesse’s community involvement includes a previous position as Medical Director for Good Shepherd Hospice. He is also a Preceptor/Community Faculty member at the University of Kansas School of Medicine in the Department of Family & Community Medicine.
